Description: 16mm Film - Augusta's Invitation - BRD 1985 Script and Direction: Renate Holy Camera: Pim Tjujerman Cast: Rita Lengyel, Max Volkert Martens, and others. Augusta, a somewhat 'odd' girl in yellow aviator gear, watches children playing in a schoolyard from a roof overhang. When discovered, she introduces herself and explains that she is looking for a breakfast companion. However, Augusta does not offer gummy bears, licorice or chocolate, but instead invites everyone on a journey with various stops where healthy ingredients are collected for a shared breakfast. At a kiosk there are bread rolls, muesli, fruit and nuts. In a dairy factory they find various dairy products such as yogurt, drinking milk and sour milk. On a farm, the children receive homemade jam and fresh wholemeal bread. Hungry, everyone gathers around the abundantly laid breakfast table.
